January 2007 was the first time that Jonathan had a salsa lesson. Bought as a christmas present from him to Lynne the logic was if he had to dance then Lynne should at least know how: thus a salsa king was born. Not content with going to lessons Jonathan and Lynne attended many salsa nights at various Glasgow and Aberdeen venues, not to mention the odd dance to Shakira when out drinking with friends! In fact Jonathan loved to salsa so much he convinced more than one friend to try a salsa night in town, where he would then spin any female friends until they were dizzy. I'm sure that he will be missed not only by previous clasmates but also the many random females he salsa'd when out and about. He will be most missed though by Lynne. As with all things Jonathan's salsa dancing was more about creativity and enthusiam than following the rules. He would mix and match moves and the only thing to do was to go along for the ride, and it was always worth it.
