'Becoming an auntie'

I was on holiday in Ibiza when Jonathan was born. I was waiting to hear that I had become an auntie for the very first time and mobile phones hadn't been invented, it was a very trying time! One day I received a telegram, which I still have, it read " Hello aunite Louise, arrived safely, love Jonathan. " A few days later my mum picked me and my then boyfriend up from Glasgow airport and I remember he fell out with me because all mum and me did was talk about the baby all the way home. The next morning bright and early I went to Mothercare in the Town Centre and bought bits of baby parafinalia and then took a taxi to Windward Road. Lesley Anne answered the door in her dressing gown and then went to fetch Jonathan. She walked downstairs carrying a mosses basket and I met my nephew for the first time.
